My creative space has been a buzzy little hive of activity of late. Madly making patterns and prototypes....and remaking patterns and prototypes....and then remaking patterns....o.k. you get the idea! How much calico can one gal use!! I have finally decided to take a giant leap and open a little Etsy and Made It shop and give marketeering a go. I am so in love with the community of fellow crafters out there and can't wait to be a more organic part of it rather than just hovering in the virtual world of "blogland". Poppet of course has benefited from all this crazy sewing and here are the first few items from my collection. Oooh! Collection! How very Chanel!!!
Little linen smock tops, denim dresses and pants that make my pétit chou (my little cabbage....a too, too cute French saying for kiddies) look all girly, Frenchy and gorgeous but are practical enough she can explore her world with ease. I even had a whirl at making my own bias tape and am so thrilled with how it turned out. Oh You Tube, I love you!
A big merçi to Kirsty for hosting this delightful collaboration of fellow crafters. Please pop into her blog to be inspired by all the other crafty kindred spirits out there!
