                                                                               Little things that make our world. Things I want to capture, tuck away and peek at another day....and smile.

I'm not sure what is prettier, the delicate tea strainer or it's shadow.
Taking some wee foxes out for a potter.
Cutting up an embroidered tea towel to make a kindy bag for my little bird.
Mr. Squiggle. My beloved practically begged to bring this one home. Bless that man x
Cherry {playdough} pie.
A crumpled paint swatch found in the depths of one of her pockets. Blue of course.
Some late afternoon stitching for my poppet's lunchbox. She's off to kindy next week and my heart keeps leaping up into my throat at the thought. I will miss her so....but oh such adventures she wil have.

Joining in with the beautiful Em and the lovely Lou.

    Beautiful photos again. Good luck with Bijou's first week of kinder. We also have a first week of kinder coming up.. oh dear, how will I cope!

    I felt the same way when my little guy started kindy last year. Have loved having him home over the holidays. Three more days and he is back into it again. My heart sinks just thinking about it. xo

    Oh I sighed and ohhed and ahhed at each photo! Each sweet and beautiful in their own way that I can't pick a favourite even though I was the number one Mr Squiggle fan! The delightful strainer, that top, and your creations just resonating with how I like to spend my days as well! Oh to have a crafter-noon with you dear friend! Happy Australia Day too xx

    The tea strainer is oh-so beautiful! And I had a little giggle at the paint swatch - I have some nibbled-on paint swatches sitting right next to me from our family trip to Bunnings yesterday (Everly still hasn't quite left the everything-goes-in-the-mouth phase...)

    Oh Steph, I feel teary reading this as my big girl is off to kindy this week too - after all these years of her being with me every day, the thought of a few days with her off having adventures saddens me, but at the same time excites me for all that is ahead of her. I will be thinking of you next week as we wave our girls off to kindy :(

    Oh I just love all these photos, beautifully captured. My throat is tight with my big girl going off to full-time school this year. I don't know what I'm going to do without her! And you just reminded me that I need to make a couple of library bags for both of my school kiddos. Only one more week of school holidays to go! Enjoy your public holiday today lovely xxx
