Ten years ago today you held my face in your hands and kissed me as your wife.
We gave eucalyptus saplings tied with twine for gifts.
Our friends and family planted them and they have cast deep roots and spread their limbs to the skies. Our love has grown organically also. And so very strong.
We have rode this magnificent wave of our marriage. Sometimes steely blue with overwhelming white wash dumping us to murky depths. Yet we always resurface to the sun and cast our eyes upon the crystal beauty around us. But mostly it is calm and glassy with small ripples only adding humour and adventure. It is all shades of cobalt, cerulean and sapphire. It is beautiful.
I will swim this ocean forever with you my beloved.

I love the "ripples that add humour and adventure" - it made me chuckle as it reminded me all too well of the soft waves that my love and I also ride... the waves that ultimately shape us and keep life exciting.
