little things

Harvesting beans. Not one ever makes it to the kitchen.
The wind in our hair made us twirl and romp and laugh.
Christmas decorations. Is it really that time of year already?
Our "slowing down time" candle. A gentle part of our nightly bedtime ritual.
Some delicious new birthday reading. Ta very muchly my beloveds!
Wondering how in the world my Mum found the time to iron place mats and tablecloths.

Little things that make our world. Things I want to capture, tuck away and peak at another day....and smile.

Inspired by this gorgeous Mumma.

  3. It's only since I started sewing that the ironing board has come out again..I never iron clothes and other things get ironed very rarely..but when I sew, I use it all the time! Fresh beans are just the best aren't they?

  7. The only time my iron gets switched on is when I am sewing...I just let the wrinkles fall out of my clothing and everything else :)

Christmas! I know. It seems ludicrous that it is a mere 5 weeks away!

  12. What beautiful snippets of your week!
I think the wind blowing in your hair is my fav :)
Last shot - yep agree with you there. Only yesterday I put on an obviously un-ironed tablecloth on, stared at it for a minute and agreed that it must be ironed, then promptly walked away and didn't do anything about it ;)
