Harvesting beans. Not one ever makes it to the kitchen.
The wind in our hair made us twirl and romp and laugh.
Christmas decorations. Is it really that time of year already?
Our "slowing down time" candle. A gentle part of our nightly bedtime ritual.
Some delicious new birthday reading. Ta very muchly my beloveds!
Wondering how in the world my Mum found the time to iron place mats and tablecloths.
Little things that make our world. Things I want to capture, tuck away and peak at another day....and smile.
Inspired by this gorgeous Mumma.

It's only since I started sewing that the ironing board has come out again..I never iron clothes and other things get ironed very rarely..but when I sew, I use it all the time! Fresh beans are just the best aren't they?
ReplyDeleteMy mum refused to teach me to iron because she found it therapeutic. Cah-razy
ReplyDeletelovely to see pics of you steph, you will treasure them later. sweetness and light :)sarah
ReplyDeleteThese little pieces of your life are the most beautiful... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteThe only time my iron gets switched on is when I am sewing...I just let the wrinkles fall out of my clothing and everything else :)
ReplyDeleteI'm freaking a little that xmas is so close..it's kind of crept up on me.
Gorgeous pics Steph.

I love that little candle and that you light it to set the mood - so sweet. x
ReplyDeletesweet! I wonder about all that ironing too, from undies to bed sheets, how did it ever happen?
ReplyDeleteHi Steph - thanks for commenting and following on my blog. Loving your space - am having a good nosey around - I'm on my third cup of tea. So nice to find a kindred spirit. Following now. Have a beautiful week. Elaina xo
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteChristmas! I know. It seems ludicrous that it is a mere 5 weeks away!
What beautiful snippets of your week!
ReplyDeleteI think the wind blowing in your hair is my fav :)
Last shot - yep agree with you there. Only yesterday I put on an obviously un-ironed tablecloth on, stared at it for a minute and agreed that it must be ironed, then promptly walked away and didn't do anything about it ;)
What a beautiful candle - I love that it 'slows down' time...
ReplyDeleteIn awe that your mum ironed placements and table cloths.
