little things

Little things that make our world. Things I want to capture, tuck away and peek at another day....and smile.

Mesmerised by the vivid blue sparkle. Possibly our last pool swim for a few seasons.
A quiet Saturday morning of sheets on the line, cups of tea and clay in the shade.
Berry smoothies in jam jars soothe the greatest of woes.
In awe of nature's colour palette.
Plastered near the sink where I while away many hours washing up. Trying so very hard to live it...unpainted window frame and all. *
Is it a whisker strange to find beauty in the chalky flakes of peeling paint on wood houses?
An impromptu and decadent weekend lunch feast.

* The gorgeous "bloom where you are planted" print is from Monkey Mind Design .
Joining in with the beautiful Em and the lovely Lou.

  1. That first photo is just beautiful Steph, the water is stunning and blue against Bijou's red swimmers and hat, it was such a beautiful weekend wasn't it:) I do know that feeling of unpainted things and chipped paint, there is always a job to do in our old home. Your lunch feast looks yummy what a lovely treat to have. Wishing you a wonderful week lovely. xx

  15. All these images are just wonderful! That paint peeling shot has wonderful texture...not strange at all ;) And that last shot is making me hungry, as I sit here and ponder what to have for dinner...don't really feel much like cooking tonight is the issue. Hope you're having a lovely week, Rach xx
