little things

Little things that make our world. Things I want to capture, tuck away and peek at another day....and smile.

Santa brought swings! Under the cover of darkness the clever fellow fashioned a bright blue rock wall on one side.
My beloved first car off to a new owner who wants to bring her back to her former glory. Yes, there were tears.
Simply can not keep him clean.
A sandy concoction.
Helping Papa to saw off the branches from our Christmas tree. Plans for blocks and candle holders are percolating in my mind.
She hung Christmas lights on her cubby house.
Our first heirloom tomato from these seeds.
Sharing.

  1. Oh my Aunty used to drive around in a little yellow beetle too...I always loved when she came to visit so I could go for a ride in what to me was the most delightful car, ever!
That rock wall is such a brilliant idea and I love the interpretation of the Christmas lights on the cubby.never tire of getting glimpses into your world Steph..just lovely.

  5. Hi Steph, I just found your blog thru Posie on instagram. Gorgeous images. I love your children's names too. Those names were both on my list. She wound up with Amelie Matisse instead. Looking forward to reading more on your blog. Bree @meandmy2guys

  6. I can image that there were a bucket load of tears when you saw her leave. You have had her advertised for a while. Im certain that your heart will skip a beat if you ever see her on the road again.
The photos are lovely as always Steph. Hope that you all had a great Christmas break.

  7. Heirloom tomatoes from your seeds! Lovely! I seem to have tomato seedlings here sprouting everywhere, I guess you could call that 'from our own seed' but I'm struggling to keep them all staked. I definitely want to try more heirloom varieties next year. Love those chubby legs. x
