eden's adam

She asks questions incessantly. Just like her Mumma words pour from her mouth about anything and everything; she is rarely quiet.

Nature and all its wondrous minutiae fascinate her. Her body stills for a tiny point in time as she investigates this creature, that speckled leaf. The moment has passed, the winged friend has taken flight and now she is all spinning and whirling. I am dizzy watching her.

Her gaze narrows in on something far off in the distance. I for a second see the woman in the delicate features of her beautiful face. My heart flutters a little.

But there, returned once more, my crinkly nosed baby. I can hold her hand for a while longer. My honey girl.

The pattern for Bijou's Adam is by the amazingly talented Tikki. I've  ravelled it here. The delicious pima cotton yarn was a dream to work with.

  2. Such a beautiful top. The colour is lovely on her too.
I haven't yet found the patience for knitting bigger items. I admire others who have.
I love the constant chatter that children bring to the world. Such busy creatures, they are.
    Happy Thursday to you. x
